We have assisted the owners of the Robert Treat Center & Hotel to renovate this 14 story, 100,000 ft2 complex which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The majority of the original hotel was converted into office space while the penthouse suites are still connected to an adjacent 1960’s hotel addition. Typical floor plates of 8,000 ft2 allow for a variety of tenant spaces including corporate offices. Ballrooms were converted into television studios and office spaces. Renovations of an existing restaurant gives office workers, hotel guests and NJPAC patrons a place for good food. A rooftop garden is also used for special events. This location has been an active center for social life in Newark since opening.
